The Boogie Train Blues Band – Nelson
Shop would like to thank Marcus, Sahn, and Joe for the opportunity to play 3 gigs with Nelson’s now legendary blues band, The Boogie Train, during December 2009. It was great to play the BLUES again with you guys, you’re all true friends and fellow Bluesmen. It was a pleasure to play with Liam Ryan as well! Liam started out playing in Auckland around the same time as Shop, We were both in bands that featured on Hauraki Homegrown ‘81, and both toured Bay of Plenty during that summer. Cheers, Liam 
Welcome to IVAN OUTRAM, new guitarist with The Boogie Train. For those that don’t know Ivan, he’s a stunning guitar player and he’s amazing with tube amps as well as virtually anything else electronic! At this point, Louis Bragg deserves a mention. Louis is a great guy, one of the founding members of The Boogie Train, and a great friend. Louis is starting a new project with a different emphasis. We all miss Louis’ solid guitar style and his sweet Les Paul. I’m sure we’ll see Louis rockin’ it out soon – and don’t forget Louis Bragg’s solo work!
